I bought this set for my niece who is 14. She is extremely talented and mostly collaborating Acrylic paints and sketch pens. When she mentioned her desire to try watercolors I ordered this set for her. She was delighted when she received it and immediately started using it. Some of the work she has created with this set is Phenomenal She loves the fact that the box comes with a drawing easel and its own carrying case When I asked her if the paint was easy to use etc she told me it was really great and that she really liked it I would not recommend anyone just starting out to paint with watercolors, it is of excellent quality and has survived the "abuse" of a 14 year old who carried it everywhere. Remember that the box is made of wood. Even though it's made out of wood, it's a little less premium than a high-end set. In this line of artist kits, this is a wonderful product.
