Unfortunately I have sweaty hands and needed to find something that would make it safer to handle and shoot my gun. I have Mechanix gloves that I use to work on my truck and I am very happy with them and their performance. When I found them to photograph, I decided to give it a try. The AX Suede material is thin enough so you don't lose feel and grip. And the stretch material ensures a nice fit that almost feels like a second layer of (drier) skin! Not sure how long they will last but at this price I will just buy another pair when they wear out. So glad I found her. They changed my shooting experience for the better! ***** UPDATE ***** I still love these gloves but like other reviewers I found them far from durable. A hole appeared in them under the thumb of the right hand after a failure at the training ground. (See image.) I think the seam needs to be repositioned so it's not quite at the edge or at the fingertip. Maybe they fix it in the next version. performance is great! In fact, I didn't notice the hole until I got home from the shooting range. I bought another pair as the price dropped after my first purchase. I think I'll try one of the other options next time. Or another brand.
