Amazing gloves, the best of men

I love these gloves! Typical Mechanix quality and durability but in a thinner glove. I work for law enforcement and they allow me to safely handle blades, broken glass, etc., yet thin enough to comfortably handle my guns/tools as well as "search" without missing a thing. I will buy again

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Pleasant for work and at the shooting range!

I have two sets of these. One for shooting and one that I use for light work gloves. Both are very comfortable. Both actions will show wear and tear. But slower than other gloves I've used. I would buy it again, I actually did. If this review was helpful, please let me know by clicking the helpful button below the review.

Perfect patrol glove

Love these gloves because they are so thin. They are very easy to shoot as they are not bulky and fit snugly. I'm LEO and I use them as patrol gloves every day. Use them on every call. Definitely only summer gloves. Too thin to withstand any heat. I am amazed at how well they have held up considering how thin they are. The only downside is that the seams aren't smooth on the fingertips and the seams get caught on your nails due to the tight fit. It sounds strange at first, but you get used to…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Nice replacement for a driver's glove

Mechanix was used to make a beautiful black leather driver's glove (PLD-05-010) which was practically the best on the market. Looked great and fit perfectly. For some reason they dropped it from their lineup in 2013 and never released a replacement. The closest thing I could find was the Recon leather glove, which I didn't like the reviews for. So I bought Covert instead. Yes, it's a shooting glove, but it's thin, grippy, and a pretty decent driving glove for the price. However, it offers…

  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • I won't tell

Lightweight, cool and comfortable. Long range gloves.

So these gloves are of decent quality and seem to hold up to shooting/running practice. They are exactly what I expected - light, comfortable, not very hot (I live in Florida) and offer good support. These are what I consider "shooting gloves" as they are great for training and moderate violence, but I might choose a tougher model if I was involved in heavier training/surgery/combat; maybe something thicker and stronger that offers more protection from pinched fingers or scalding hot weapons…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • boring packaging

With minimal use they become silk gloves

Other 5 star reviews Haven't used these gloves for a while. Most of these reviews should not be up to standard for tactical imagery. I've used many variants of Mechanix gloves in the past and they have a solid reputation in my book. Currently my favorite Mechanis gloves are the FastFit Covert, which are half the price of these gloves (at Revain). However, these gloves have become like silk gloves with little use. What if you're trying to use them for microtactile sensations and holding objects,

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • The list will be long.

I love these gloves! (for now)

Unfortunately I have sweaty hands and needed to find something that would make it safer to handle and shoot my gun. I have Mechanix gloves that I use to work on my truck and I am very happy with them and their performance. When I found them to photograph, I decided to give it a try. The AX Suede material is thin enough so you don't lose feel and grip. And the stretch material ensures a nice fit that almost feels like a second layer of (drier) skin! Not sure how long they will last but at this…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later
