Those are nice potholders. Great fabric and colour, such a lovely linen. However, there's a reason most kitchen gloves go up a bit and fully cover the wrist and a few inches of the arm - they're not very well constructed. They stop right after your hand. I burned @#*% my hand on Thanksgiving the first time I used it and reached for a loaded oven to grab a casserole dish. Honestly the worst burn I've ever had. Yes. I won't be using them again to take something out of the oven, they work well for working with pans on the stove. You'll definitely need to add a few inches of material for better protection! They also shrunk a bit in the wash and were a bit small on my hands and are now even shorter in length. They still fit me, but definitely not my husband. I like the looks but they aren't as sure as they could be.
