I bought this because my friend has it in his house and I helped him install it. I used to only have a cable company router and a wireless extender. The problem with this system was that the extender and router had two different Wi-Fi names, and you had to switch from name to name as you went to different parts of the house. At the same time, it has a name for the whole house and is very easy to set up. It has very good parental controls that you can set up to limit your child's internet usage. Instead of arguing with my son about when he would stop playing Xbox, I just turned it off. Also the 2nd and 3rd block can be used to connect a wired device like Tivo Mini. I found 3 packages of this device on costco.com. They are cheaper than this package.
