It worked fine (if a bit slow) for about 6 months.
I have a printer that is shared between two computers. I used to have an auto-switching device that recognized which device was sending input to the printer and switched accordingly. It worked fine (albeit a bit slow) for about 6 months, but lately it didn't switch automatically and eventually didn't switch at all. We were never sure if it was a hardware glitch or a software glitch. We then bought this handset as a replacement. It was 100% reliable and was a lot cheaper. Sometimes simpler and cheaper is better.
