I was glad to get them. When I received them I was amazed at how much they weighed. Excited, I set about installing it. I went to tighten one of the standoff screws and the weld broke off immediately with light pressure. This caused the brace to scratch my archwires. These will be returned. I had hoped so too. ***UPDATE 05/24/19***After giving this product 1 star, the seller immediately contacted me and asked if I would remove my review in exchange for a refund and send me a replacement set. I told them that I would not change my rating unless the fault in the product (weld nuts) was fixed (they want a full weld, not two tacks). Needless to say, the second set had the same poor welds and broke upon installation as the first set. I will not change my rating, I will put 1 star. It's a shame they don't address this issue because the product would be good if it weren't for the crappy welds. UPDATE 7/9/19 Just completed a 10 day trip. The seller sent me a third set and promised that the weak weld problem would be fixed. I can say that after 10 days on the road, the steps held up. Even at low speed they lay down, did not break off. However, your up/down function seems to hit or miss. I just leave them. I folded them once and had to use them like a hammer to twist the pin back. Now that the sweat issue is resolved I'm giving it 4 stars. Because of a serious problem with the first two sentences, let's just take one off.
