I have for my kindergarten child when we go to school in the rain. It has great rubber on the outside and keeps you dry. The material is of excellent quality, but we're still careful because it looks like rubber and can tear. Inside is a thin fabric that protects skin from rubber, same as outside. It was a bit big for my 5 year old but fits well in the sweater underneath and the hood is big enough to cover him well and still be able to see!
