Review on Bluetooth-Enabled Sakura Pink Oral-B Genius 8000 Electric Toothbrush by Libby Walker

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I have a love/hate relationship with this "toothbrush "

For years my old Oral-B served its purpose, but I could see that it needed charging more and more often, and it did only a matter of time before his death. I decided to take the best of the last batch because I knew there was a lot of unnecessary stuff in there - absolutely unnecessary! For a while I was tempted to give it back. In fact, I was, and I almost feel guilty about it. Here's why: 1. No, I don't need another Bluetooth near my head (I turned it off)2. No, I don't put my phone on a mirror and use an app to watch myself brush my teeth. How much did this bracket increase the price? Am I really risking a catastrophe: a phone accident? (most of the mount stays in the box) 3. No, I don't need colored lights on my toothbrush! (If you press too hard, the light ring on top will turn red. With Bluetooth, it will also turn blue.) 4. No, I don't need an integrated PHONE charger in my travel toothbrush case! Storage: The body of the toothbrush has multiple settings and can be adjusted. It is lighter than its predecessors. charge with your PHONE. No comments. Add an eye roll emoji. It also has a base that supports the charging brush and is attached to the closed brush heads in a ring. OK PEOPLE: GET READY FOR MY BIG BEEP: This is fucking bugging me. The stand is permanently connected to a power cable. So if you want to leave the brush and all the accessories on the sink while it's not charging, you'll have to mess with the cord. My previous, old model had the option to remove the wire part from the larger bracket (with brushes). There was nothing to do with the cord unless you charge the brush. I think this is the dumbest design and I've experimented with making the brush available on my counter. I use NOTHING in the box. Just a brush head in a plastic cylinder - a cap of something to hold it upright and the brush stands on its own. I have no place for all these things! Another thing that annoys me about Oral-B is that in all the years of making this product and recommending washing and separating the head and brush, they never fit. Prepare something to protect him and SHE from an exposed metal rod, which while just a potential hazard (but we know children can and do get caught in something and adults can have an accident), can pierce you, when you are in this position. and forget it's him. My solution is another invention similar to a plastic cap to prevent this. Good design is one thing. Little things are important. This is a recycled product. Some less expensive models still had Bluetooth. But "they" say Oral-B is THE BEST. And here is my grumpy report. All my issues aside (which I lowered the rating for) this is a toothbrush that works and I love the black color. Note to Oral-B: Next time you reinvent the electric toothbrush, give me a call.
