Finally tried gel nails and this did not disappoint. I also bought the same brand base and top coats. One thing I did not know going into this was that the coats stay tacky. I kept running them under the light thinking they hadn't dried just to find out that tacky is ok, and even good. That's why there are top coats, including that I bought from Modelones, that say "no wipe" meaning wipe with alcohol.First, a pro. I painted them Friday evening or so. The pictures were taken on the following Thursday night. Not only has the polish lasted, my actual nails haven't chipped on the corners and the nail polish is still mostly unchipped and glossy. My mind is blown. Never have I ever had this greatness.Ok, next, a con. It was advertised as "jelly" and made the color look like it had a clear layer on top giving the "jelly" effect. No. False. It was very much pepto bismol, solid, opaque-colored.Overall, I would definitely recommend this brand. I opted to stay consistent and buy their mini UV/LED light as well and I'm happy with everything (after I found out the layers staying tacky is normal). I have had one corner of polish chip, but no biggie.BTW, I even tried dip powder DIY and this gel polish lasts longer and looks better with time. I haven't tried with fake nails/tips though. I only polished my natural nail.I've yet to remove the polish so hopefully that doesn't just obliterate the great review. :)
