I've already answered, but I can say more if you'd like. The bulb itself fits into an unusual cartridge (four pins and a central plastic cube with lugs for a lock). It took a lot of effort, but eventually it clicked into place and the lightbulb lit up. The lifespan should be at least 2 years, but I can't say that at the moment. I also bought a spare and put it in the closet. Like any other fluorescent lamp, it is initially weak, but reaches full power after a few minutes. The good folks at Econotone got it wrong from the start and sent me the wrong lightbulb. However, they happily corrected the mistake and even paid for the return postage. I am very happy with their service.
