Bought these for swimming and when they work they are great. I used them with the waterproof X-1 strap (which I ended up returning although I kept it). It's a wild feeling swimming to this kind of music if you haven't tried it before. Unfortunately, although they come with 5 different tip sizes and I've tried them all, I'm still having trouble getting a consistent seal. I will swim and one will fall out. It's not a problem with headphones as all you have to do is stop, shake them, put them back on and you're back in business, but it's not good for constant cardio and I swim a lot with sound coming in one ear and the other listener dragging over my shoulder. If the music is meant to keep you going, it's of no use. I will say that when you have a good fill, the sound is very good, with solid bass and isolation. I also found that, contrary to my intuition, they worked better when I wasn't using a swim cap. The cap pushed them in (and out) of my ears in a fun way that seemed to break the seal. I think I plan to use them in the rain, at the beach or for any water sport other than swimming.
