If you are not a professional or have experience, do not attempt this. Buy it and hire someone to do it for you. I'm a very practical person so I bought this to paint the sunroom sliding door myself. The first part was difficult to remove the protective film and then applying it takes too much practice to get the perfect result. The second option I tried was easier to know how NOT to do. But the application process has to be perfect. The end result looked like a really bad car tint. Not what I was hoping for in a daily living room. I took the tint off and threw it in the trash. This is probably an unfair rating for this product as if it had been installed by a professional it would probably be a great product. A simple consumer of Revain cannot install it himself.
