First, let me talk about why Pixel owners will buy this device: fast charging. I have a Pixel 3. This adapter enables the Fast Charge indicator. However, I'd say it doesn't quite match the speed of the Pixel 3's wall charger. It's still a worthwhile investment if you want to charge faster in the car. When charging your phone, you must use the USB-C port. I would definitely buy it again if I needed another PD charger for my PIxel phone. However, I hesitated. The message that this adapter will destroy your Pixel phone bothered me (there may have been several). I used it for about a month and after using it I looked and felt my phone to see if my phone was frying with this adapter before posting this review. For me it was warm a couple of times, but it was rare. I'm happy to report that my Pixel 3 is still fully functional and I'm not noticing any issues. It's terrible that someone's phone burned down. I don't know what happened, maybe it was an electrical problem in the car or maybe a faulty adapter. All I can say is that I have had no problems and am completely satisfied with this adapter. I am using the USB-A to Bluetooth receiver adapter part and it works fine. **UPDATE 05/08/2019** I've been using it on my Pixel 3 since January. I've had no problems. **UPDATE 9/2/2019** Used it all summer in Arizona. No problem. It still works great!
