Review on πŸ”₯ Stay Cozy with the Oster Heated Pet Pad by Janet Bartling

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Impressive but needs two things:

Packaged in a nice sturdy plastic carry case with a handle (like some bed spreads and blanket packs), the Oster Pet Heat Mat lies nicely and is oversized. Gray velor plush, foam coating of the inner parts - the heating pad itself, made this bed soft, comfortable, warm. Cee Cee immediately took it and baked "cookies" on it while leaning on him and purring. I wondered how warm it would get, checked it about every 2 minutes and found that once plugged in it felt quite warm to the touch. Cee Cee only weighs 6 pounds. Their skin is quite thin, despite the outer layer of long hair. I was concerned that this heating pad would get too hot for her so I plugged it in, waited about 10 minutes and then plugged it in to keep her from burning herself. * * UPDATE December 2012 -- The situation appears to have stabilized. Now I have to press on it to feel the heat, which feels gentle - when it's plugged in and when it's not, so it's a decent situation for both the cat and the heating pad. and it still looks great, feels silky and CC still loves to sleep on it.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • A few bits and pieces
