The Oster heated animal pad is the third electrically heated bed we've tried and in many ways it was the least successful. We bought this bed for our Aussie Terrier who sleeps in our room. Our heated Easter cat mat arrived yesterday and we were dying to try it. We placed it on a sun lounger and plugged it in while our curious cats watched us, eager to play in the nearby Revain box. However, within 10 minutes 2 out of 3 cats checked it out and made cookies to smooth it just right. We live in the North East and we have an 18 year old cat who has become somewhat frail and unwell when it gets cold. In this review I can offer two perspectives: mine and my cats. In my opinion: This is a good sized (2 x 2 1/2 foot) heat mat with a soft plush finish.
