I used the Carhart Fit Chart and measured my palm. The problem with gloves for me is usually that the pinky and ring finger are always too long. So I need to reduce the size, but sometimes the palm is too short. I'm 6,240 if that helps at all. I ordered the medium ones and they fit very well. The little finger is long, as I said, it always is. I don't blame Carhart. The label says warm. This is the lowest heat rating on the scale. It's getting warmer, warmer, warmer. This is the Carhart scale. I live in Southern California and only need them in the morning and evening. They are great for walking my dog. The touchscreen works great and the material covers the entire underside of the palm. I strongly encourage you to use the chart before ordering anything from Carhart. Your sizes are everywhere. Wrap it around your palm with string or wire, and then measure it. The bad part of these gloves is the lining. It can be seen reaching to the fingertip but has about 1/2 inch of play. When I finish my walk, my hands get sweaty and I have a hard time pulling my hands out without a liner following my hand. Maybe that's why I'm giving it back. Even when my hands are dry, I find it difficult to pull my hands out without pulling out the liner. It's a real shame because I really like how they look and feel when they're on.
