Read Reviews Buy b4 as usual. I have seen so many problems with the hard drive when removed from the bracket. It clearly shows which direction you need to rotate the base to unlock the found adapter. I took a pair of thin-nosed wire cutters (for cutting fiber optic cables) and carefully cut off the side of the stop tab that keeps the base of the adapter from rotating. After that, it rotates slightly and the adapter detaches from the base! I leave it as is so I can easily turn it on and off. Adapter stay on jst ok. All parts are well made and work perfectly.
