This bag fits my 17 inch LG Gram laptop well. It's not a hard case, but a hard plastic zippered case that offers basic protection when I'm carrying my laptop in a canvas bag or suitcase for local or long trips. I don't want anything heavy or hard to hit it, but something gentle to carry protects the laptop well and securely and is light weight but strong enough for my use. 17-inch laptops don't seem to have many cases of this kind; The alternatives are either just cloth cases or heavy/uncomfortable cases. This is a practical alternative.
