I used to use Merrick's dog food but it was purchased from Petco and the ingredients have changed. I have noticed that the new ingredients have caused my dog to have an upset stomach. After a few months I started looking for another dog food brand. I stumbled across this one, read the ingredients and loved that it had pumpkin in it as I know it's good for dog tummies. I have a large bag to get the most bang for my buck. After teaching my dogs to eat for two weeks, their poop became hard and I didn't notice any indigestion. They love this food too. They try to get all the guests to feed them by waiting at their food bowls and whining which I have never seen before.
