I bet that this is a great super glue and I bet it was all my fault for not paying closer attention to what the product is capable of doing. I tried to glue a plastic doorbell about 1 1/2” by 3” to wood that has wood grain and is not so flat in some areas.I made sure the glue was on clean flat surfaces, but with 4 drops near each corner of the doorbell it had no grip at all after 20 seconds. I held it tight again for 1 minute and it held. After 15 minutes my daughter pushed the doorbell and it fell off before the doorbell rang.I now have sanded the area and placed a couple drops to each side of the wood then a drop in each corner again. I held the doorbell for 1 min and it’s still there now. After 10 minutes I put several more drops along the top of the doorbell and they leaked down the grain and came out below the doorbell a little bit.The point is the doorbell isn’t going to be there tomorrow, in a few days or maybe a couple weeks. I needed another product with the same name Gorilla superglue GEL. I guess I just wanted the other product and didn’t know it.
