Works great. I was planning to end up getting a basic cigarette lighter memory flavor with no OBD port, but then I remembered that the cigarette lighter goes out when the car is turned off. So I jumped on this gadget. This device is one of those unusual tools that you only need once or twice in the life of your car when you need to change the battery. But if you need it you need it. I've read stories of memories being corrupted or erased and I've had to go through an engine and transmission retraining period. This thing prevented the loss of calibration time. Pros: Works as described. Saved memory on my 2009 GMC Acadia. Cons: The cable is too short to connect to another car to save storage space. (The document recommends using a portable battery/jumper with a cigarette lighter plug.) All in all a great product that saved time on calibration. With the exception of the cable, I would recommend this product to friends and family.
