We have been using Insignia headphones for many years, they are usually easy to install and work great. Only the optical cable is not included. I bought a box that switches from analog to digital on previous headphones I've bought. come on guys Who is using analog audio now? However, this is included in the box and you need to buy an optical cable to connect them to any smart TV. I recently bought a set from Best Buy (the last ones on the shelf) but returned them because the audio in the headset was turning on and off. I bought a set from Revain and the same thing happened. Both boxes were not new and appear to have been returned. Revane sent another pair and the same thing happened. Eventually I tried them on a different TV in a different part of the house. They work fine. The old pair I replaced worked fine with the living room TV, but I haven't found a pair that will work with this TV. I will look into another brand than Insignia. While this used to be a great brand I wasn't happy that they didn't work with the living room TV. And both were returned. Why would you put returned headphones back on the shelf to send to another customer?
