Black marks on fingers

Approached my controller, didn't get stuck. Though I had to keep adjusting the holes around the thumbsticks - my left stick would get stuck to the lid if I pushed it too far left (hard to avoid if you're moving the character left). I was about to cut a hole around the left stick when I noticed black marks from the cover on my fingers. Instead I'm sending it back.
