Review on REXBETI Ultimate 750 Electric Lightweight Spraying by Carl Higdem

One of the best purchases I've ever made!

We built a garden shed in our backyard and it's time to paint it. My son spent an hour and a half painting under the eaves on one side of the house with a brush. That should have lasted forever! I bought this spray gun and it really is one of the best purchases I've ever made! What it took my son an hour and a half with a brush, my husband did in less than 10 minutes with this airbrush! We had never used a spray gun before so I worried it wouldn't work or we wouldn't know what to do or we would ruin everything or a million other things. I chose this particular gun after comparing all the reviews and didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted a decent gun and had it delivered for free the next day. The instructions are a bit confusing but I just used common sense and figured it all out. It is very important that you filter the paint before putting it in the spray tank. I bought a paint filter (it's just a strainer of sorts) at a hardware store and poured paint through it into a container. If you don't filter the paint you will get a clog which will cause the gun to spit and spatter. Also, make sure your paint is the right consistency. Our paint was Behr Paint & Primer (from Home Depot) and it was very thick. The gun reservoir holds about a liter of paint. In a separate container I poured 1/3 cup of water, then about a liter of paint. I mixed, mixed, mixed until it turned out very well. Then pour the diluted mixture through the filter into the gun reservoir. It took a few practice swings to get a feel for the gun as I started spray-painting the cottage and I had to figure out how fast to move and how close to the wall to be, but after we experimented had, we had got it right and done it right, very rapid progress. There was no squirting, which made me happy. We gun painted all of the walls (about 600 square feet of vertical walls) and under the eaves (about 75 feet) using about 3 gallons of paint per bare siding. The gun worked perfectly. In fact, my husband tilted the gun in all directions, almost upside down at times when doing it under the ledge, and I was surprised the gun still worked! as a hut. Every time after we finished painting, I would take everything apart and give everything a thorough cleaning. Handle and motor form a unit that is detached from the front (container and nozzle). When ready to clean the gun, remove the grip/motor and set aside. This is the front end that you will take apart and wash. The kit includes a small cleaning brush that allows you to reach small areas. I have my own cleaning brush which I have also used. I really had a great experience with this spray gun! I wish I had had it many years ago! I thought of all the things we painted with brush and roller if we could use this airbrush! Now let's repaint our real house! With this weapon it will be easier than ever!
