This product doesn't work - plain and simple. My wife grows tomatoes and other vegetables in our garden. When she brings in her harvest there is usually a contingent of fruit flies and mosquitoes eagerly feasting on her harvest and our blood. I bought this product based on all the misleading 'positive' reviews. Unfortunately, the device just doesn't work. When I received this product I turned it on and placed it next to a box of fruit and tomatoes my wife had been picking for about a week and not a single fruit fly or mosquito visited the zap block. After a few frustrating days, I placed a small jar of apple cider and a few drops of soap right next to this block (we found this recipe online). The cider worked and killed a few fruit flies while this device didn't kill a single one. The mosquitoes ignored both this product and the cider and still managed to bite us. I noticed that dozens of published reviews of these products only showed one video of this product being shot as a "runway model", so it must be a message from the manufacturer or biased (paid) reviewers. These reports are unreliable and misleading. The advertising and specifications for this product are misleading and inaccurate - it does not deliver on the promise of not killing bugs. But it only serves as a good night light and does not kill insects. I am returning this product after over a week of no effect. Don't waste your money and time with this product.
