later Okay, I'll admit it. I'm one of those people who have multiple pairs of reading glasses in multiple rooms around the house, each with different "reading power". Are you familiar with this? I have reading glasses that I use when I'm working on a computer and they work fine for that, but they don't perform well when I'm reading a book or working on my cellphone. At the same time, I have reading glasses with more power, which are good for reading books, but not suitable when using a computer. And since they're different glasses and usually in different rooms, if I just want to switch from my computer screen to my cell phone... well, you get the point. The Sightline progressive reading glasses solve the problem of having multiple reading glasses scattered in multiple rooms of the house. I now have reading glasses that I can use with my computer, with a book, and with my cell phone. I am actually using reading glasses when writing this review. I look at my computer screen and then sometimes at my phone (for incoming notifications, SMS, etc.) and everything I use the glasses for makes reading more enjoyable; the letters on the screens (and also on the book pages) are a bit darker, a bit bigger... just easier to read. For me, and maybe for you, the best thing about these glasses is that they come in a variety of progressive powers. . I have a pair of "2.00" which means "close reading" (perhaps bringing a cellphone closer to your face) is 0.75, computer reading is "1.50" and regular book reading is "2.00"...which is about right for me. In terms of styling, there are no lines on the lenses as it is a "progressive" style. You wouldn't see that with bifocal lenses, for example. The colors (front and side) of the glasses are modern, but not too intrusive. Certainly a step up for sleek, plain black plastic. In my opinion, this is a style that both men and women will feel comfortable in. Structurally, these glasses are really well made. The optical quality of the lenses is really good, I don't feel any distortion from the lenses. At the same time, the goggles are lightweight but strong enough to last quite a while. The hinges on the Sightline progressive reading glasses (see attached photos) are top notch; They easily open wide enough to fit most people. The eyecup is not adjustable, but is comfortable to wear and does not squeeze the nose uncomfortably. For me, it's quality reading glasses that make reading a little more comfortable, especially when 'reading' takes many hours a day, a computer screen, a book, or even a mobile phone or tablet.
