Only works when needed
If it works at all, the remote only works long enough to turn on the TV and press about four buttons before it stops working entirely. I've bought several different TCL remotes and they all seem to have similar issues (all tested with multiple pairs of fresh batteries). I haven't found a reliable TCL remote yet, not even the one that came with my TV.
