Our cheap kitchen dustpan's handle broke, duct tape kept it alive, but now it's bending too much. The Maiyuansu Shovel and Broom Set is a good replacement and has the advantage (and disadvantage) of a soft rubber edge on the pan. The obvious benefit is that it's very thin and does a great job of wicking dust into the pan while also helping with uneven surfaces. Excellent. The downside is that it's a super soft, flimsy rubber that doesn't feel durable. Will update review if/when it starts to tear. Overall build quality is solid and sturdy, except that the soft rubber is bonded to the hard plastic (it looks a bit cheap). Also, a few fibers in the brush were longer than the others, but a quick snip with the scissors fixed that. They are inexpensive and the brush's soft bristles are ideal for dry dirt. Turned it off due to build quality issues, but I'm sure it will last long enough to justify the price.
