I got these because I wanted to experiment with hand carved candles. I'm layering them with paints and I want to try cutting out the layers of paint for decorative effects. They are PERFECT for this use. They were developed for heavier material like clay and are therefore extremely effective on softer waxes. The edges and tips are beautifully shaped and the handles are comfortable to hold and work with. Diversity is nice for different effects. Great product, great price, highly recommend.
