Worked with #6 wire for UTV battery terminals. First, it would be better to indicate the size of the wire on the tool rather than the size in millimeters. It's good that there is a picture of this on the internet that tells you what mm size AWG is. I'll have to look at mine again because I don't think it had that many crimping options. He barely crimped #6. I had to start with a larger 25mm hole and then crimp it again with the next smaller hole. I didn't trust that anyway, so I soldered the wire to the terminal. I only bought this because my hydraulic press tool was loaned to a friend who couldn't find it and I needed something ASAP. So I basically bought a great $31+ cutter. As others have said, the whole selection wheel isn't that great. And to get a good enough crimp from top to bottom you have to go for small ones and the sides don't fit. Then you don't have enough leverage to free it and if you do it will stick to the ferrule. I was sure I would break the small selection wheels. I do not recommend this. It will just sit in the back of the drawer until the next time I need something "in a pinch".
