I took this to see if I wanted it for the slopes. I also have a Garmin GPS that I use most of the time. The price was right then. It is difficult to keep it stable over long distances. Not because of a product malfunction, but because it's difficult to keep steady. I was looking for a device that eliminates rangefinder jitter, but the price was more than I thought it was worth. I'm happy with it and use it when shooting at altitudes that my Garmin doesn't recognize. I would buy this again. Just make sure you don't catch the tree outside the green.
