I use it as a necklace and bracelet holder above my dressing table. The top shelf is great for storing perfume and nail polish. The design is more mature and rustic than many of the other options I found that were marketed specifically as necklace holders. The color of the wood was less pink and more brown, but I understand that the color may vary depending on the type of product. The shelf was easy to install with regular drywall anchors, but depending on the thickness of your drywall and the weight you want to support, you could even go without anchors (and I did when I was only using it for jewelry. I'll have anchors in the future (added installations when I started storing perfume and nail polish upstairs.) Overall I'm very happy with the functionality, size and durability in 2 different apartment moves.
