Really loud the best in the aquarium Pumps and filters

I have used this pump for aeration in my hydroponic setup. It makes a lot of noise and lasted about a year before becoming ineffective. If the pump were made more precisely and to better tolerances, it would be quieter and potentially cooler. Because the parts are a loose fit with a lot of play, this causes a lot of rumble and friction, which leads to heat and noise.
