I bought and installed two. They worked for a while and one stopped working. I bought a new one to replace this one and the other one stopped working and this one never worked. The spec says 12V MAX. My DVM shows 12.7 volts. It's pretty much useless when it's that picky. I'm sorry I spent money on these things. I'm wondering if a pull-up resistor or voltage divider can provide a low enough voltage to work? But then I created a heat source that is wasting the battery, I think I'll just replace them with round two terminal nautical style sockets. I have installed 4 of these in my RV with good results.
