I ride my mountain bike a lot and like to discover new routes by following them with the Komoot app. Carrying my iPhone 8 in my pocket listening to turn-by-turn directions, I often had to stop and pull out my phone to see where I was after skipping the turn. So I got this so I can see the map path while my iPhone is relatively safe. I found the mount to be a little awkward to attach to the steering wheel, but once installed it stays in place. When I ride over bumps the phone moves a little on the trail, which can actually be a good thing as it offers some shock absorption. I've used it for hundreds of miles now and the phone hasn't been dropped yet. In general very satisfied.
