Well done as good as can be tips for lifting and saving your battery

I really like this scale. It's beautifully made. I feel like I can give it 5 stars. Here's a tip for travelers who don't want to carry fifty pounds (the suitcase hangs on their hand scale while they count the weight). Put a piece of string on the handle of the scale. Use a broomstick (or sturdy monopod) to pry through the cable. Lean one against something slightly higher than the scale belt + suitcase, then lift it up using the object (armrest of the sofa, etc.) as a fulcrum. An alternative method is to place the case on the crate and do the same with a cane, crutch, ice pick handle, baseball bat, or chair leg, then lift the case and slide it out of the crate. so that it can be hung on a scale. Another method is to use a short stick held by two people. Other reviews mention a possible battery issue. I like the idea of not relying on the auto-off function by turning it off manually, or taking it a step further by taking a small Phillips screwdriver with you to poke the contact points of the photocell (CR 3022) with a thin one isolate piece of paper. Both measures serve to extend the battery life. I've managed to make countless trips abroad without owning a scale. However, this was the golden age of travel, when a few extra pounds didn't matter, food was distributed to everyone on the plane, and everyone tried to be polite to each other - all the time. As for the redesign. Benchmark for the future - materials and ergonomics - I wouldn't change a thing, maybe a screwdriver-less way to insulate the battery contacts. Is LED thermometer integration also an option or a motion sensitive (or voltage sensitive) alarm for more peace of mind when traveling? I have to work as Q for Bond! I have tested the scale several times with a heavy case and found it to be very accurate. Good Trip! Photo: picturesque hotel ArΕ‚amΓ³w in Poland.
