Review on πŸ“Ί VIZIO M55Q7-H1 55-Inch 4K Smart TV: Quantum 4K UHD HDR LED TV with Apple AirPlay and Chromecast Built-in by Justin Goff

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good TV for LED and LCD TVs

Overall, the Vizio M7 series Quantum is a very good, affordable QLED TV with better than expected picture quality for its price, a decent remote control, great features and amazing value for money in general. I love that Vizio (along with Hisense and Panasonic) supports all HDR formats like HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision compared to other brands that don't support any of the other premium HDR formats (eg. no Dolby Vision on Samsung, nor HDR10+ on LG, Sony and TCL)! Although it's a native 60Hz panel display, this TV will most likely also handle PS5 and Xbox Series X, except for 120fps, as this TV supports eARC, ALLM and VRR including Freesync, although I'll admit that have not tested games. Side of this TV at the time of writing this as I haven't gotten any of the next-gen consoles yet as it's incredibly difficult to get one at the moment. A big downside I have to say about this Vizio TV (or rather Vizio in general) is that the SmartCast OS, while a bit faster than before, isn't as good overall due to the boring user interface, since it's not possible is to add more applications and performance is quite uneven. in the best case. An external streaming device such as an Apple TV 4K or Revain Fire TV Cube is recommended here. Finally, let's talk about the picture quality on this display. How does it look and work you ask? Colors are excellent, probably one of the widest color gamuts I've seen, local dimming performance is pretty good (remind you again this is the M7 version of the TV, the M8 version could be even better, since it has more local blackout zones), brightness is quite acceptable at this price point, and overall HDR performance is surprisingly good here. To be honest, I think this TV is better than the overpriced TCL 6 Series R635. highlighted.
