Many buttons on my fob/remote were not working properly. The lock button didn't work at all. The unlock button continued to trigger randomly, causing my windows to roll down. (Double clicking the unlock button will lower the front windows - this is a feature of the VW Routan). It was very frustrating to find out that my windows were rolled down all night while it was raining! Bow. Any. I attempted to repair my existing key fob by cleaning the metal contacts with rubbing alcohol and reattaching them to their respective rear buttons with superglue. It worked on some buttons, not so well on others. The glue spread, causing the small metal buttons to no longer "pop" or tip over to make contact with the sensor. So I finally gave in and ordered this part and now my keychain is like new. Super simple solution. I highly recommend it.
