I wouldn't buy this to play music I mean... music is going well... but for TV or video games - they work great! At first I just bought them as a makeshift and then gave them away, but I think I'll keep them for myself. They're not monophonic, they're really clean (I was shocked, especially for the price), and they have a bit of bass punch. He has. I've been using them since May and I really like them.
