Great for kids with sensitive skin
My four year old daughter has accommodative esotropia and has been in glasses for 18 months. We were recently asked to start patching her stronger eye for two hours a day in an attempt to strengthen her weaker eye in preparation for surgery. She absolutely hates adhesive eye patches, as they pull at her skin/eyebrow hair, but has no problem at all with these "patches." She likes that they are pink, and I like that they are less wasteful. It's a win-win.
- Can be used for both intermittent and prolonged patching
- The patches may be more effective when combined with other treatments or therapies
