We have a large chandelier in our family room where we spend most of our time. It uses 12 F15 flame bulbs and I honestly have to change 1-3 of these every two months if not more often. It was perhaps one of the few fixtures in our house that still used incandescent bulbs. Also, the chandelier uses real wax bases to screw in the lamp, so it wasn't possible to use a 40 watt bulb or they would melt. I've bought 4 so far to "try" them, so far they're a bit brighter (but still the same color) but you really can't tell the difference between LED bulbs and incandescent bulbs. I know that Philips also makes this lamp and I'm curious if there is a difference as Philips is twice as expensive. Hopefully they last a long time and I won't be changing the bulbs as often when they are all LED.
