Review on Enhance Your Bathroom Storage with the Teamson Home Delaney Detachable Bathroom Cabinet in White by Ivrington Miller

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Price is too high for some of the issues it had

Easy to assemble and install. Like most of these things, the back "panel" is thin, flimsy chipboard at best, thick, durable cardboard at worst. When I inserted it into the center support insert, it splintered leaving a rather ugly brown streak on the back of the cabinet. It is easy to hide with objects in the closet to hide it and mostly hidden by doors. Considering it's hanging you want it to be light weight where you can make it light weight I think but the fact that it just chipped white when reassembling was a bad thing. Other boards for this piece are quite strong, it doesn't wobble or wobble after proper assembly anyway. There were 2 other issues I had with this item: about 3 weeks of use, a screw on a metal washer holding the door closed, a magnet pulled out of the wood. Leave the door open. I was able to fix it with gorilla glue, it was like new but it's technically "broken" during use. The metal fittings in the center of the glass were also scratched upon arrival. It's a beautiful cabinet, but the scratched part made it look less attractive. This can be fixed fairly easily with spray paint, newspaper, and duct tape, but for nearly $100, you don't have to use line-of-sight tricks, gorilla glue, and spray paint to make it look pretty.

Pros
  • Artistic metal design, crown molding and adjustable shelves add sleek bathroom storage
Cons
  • Nothing here
