Brilliant idea! Use your iPad as a TV/Center Monitor Display in the back seat of your car! Seems easy enough. Unfortunately it didn't live up to its promises and claims as the weight distribution works in a moving/bumpy vehicle. The heart of the product is its retractable long cylinder that attaches to the headrest mounts and the tension mount for an iPad or other device. The fact that the core is round means it can be rotated (and adjusted) easily. Unfortunately, this is also its greatest weakness. When installing an iPad (in my case an older iPad Pro 9.7"), the weight of the iPad will rotate the cylindrical center bar, almost no matter how hard you try to tighten the plastic fittings, they will rotate and your iPad/device will spin pointing downwards isn't quite the intended angle for young people looking to enjoy a Disney movie. I wish the app and the idea would kind of meet in the middle, but I was frustrated.
