I was using this keyboard and mouse combo on an HP desktop computer running Windows X. The installation went smoothly. I simply removed the dongle from the mouse and plugged it in, and the mouse and keyboard were recognized immediately. The keyboard has a low profile but is very comfortable to type on. It's also quiet compared to some other keyboards and doesn't feel particularly "clicky". Because of this, I thought it would be a good option for general office environments. The mouse is also on the quiet side with muffled clicks. The keyboard is charged via a very short USB cable, which is included in the scope of delivery. Unfortunately, the mouse requires batteries. Both can be turned off and on to save power when not in use, so they last a while. The only problem I have is that the mouse is really too small for comfort. My hands are medium sized for a woman and my fingers hang quite far forward. It also just felt tight and not particularly comfortable. I would consider it more of a travel mouse for occasional use than a reliable wireless option for a daily desktop. I was very happy with the keyboard (which was the main reason I was interested in this combo) and the so-so mouse.
