I have a nephew who LOVES Beyblades! I've spent countless hours playing with him and even brought him some Beyblades from Singapore so his collection is huge. On a positive note, this set comes with everything you need to play. You have a stadium, 1 balance type and 1 beyblade attack type. Beyblades themselves are decent, not amazing but what you often find in sets. Putting them together to ensure they "hold" in a fight is an art, and they seem to be doing a great job. The stadium was a unique idea, but it didn't work out as expected. If you've never had one, it's a very simple piece of flimsy plastic that seems to snap right away, but is good for "battles". The advantage of this arena is that you can add a "top level" or use without it. Without the top level it's like a typical arena and works well. With the top level set you think this is going to be an insanely cool feature but they actually never go up the ramp and you have a very small "arena" now and matches end very quickly. My nephew enjoyed playing with it both ways, but usually used it without this part. If you're just starting out, this is a good set. If you want to expand your collection, I will hand it over personally.
