I like the humidifier because all the parts including the mist outlets can be cleaned. When you unhook it and carry it to the bathroom to clean, water splashes where the fan is and it's only slightly raised to keep the water out. Not something that grips the area like a claw just to stop the water a little more. I generally like the quietness of the humidifier, the light goes out after a few seconds so if you need pitch black that's fine. Changing the light or stopping with a light is cool! Overall a great humidifier, just be careful when cleaning, filling and carrying.
