Review on Xiaomi Air 2 Pro Wireless Headphones, Black by Adam Wawrzyski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

Headphones come with a lot of trade-offs, but if you're willing to put up with them, you'll get a device with many flagship features for half the price.

Pros
  • Good sound (I only tested the SBC codec, but even on it they showed themselves perfectly), excellent matte case made of high-quality plastic without unnecessary drawings, wireless charging, touch control, the ability to call Google Assistant by tapping the left earpiece, a fairly accurate proximity sensor (with automatic play and pause of music). In addition to the SBC codec, they support AAC and LH2C (for which, however, they need to be ated through the application in Chinese). Active noise cancellation with multiple modes. Excellent and very large premium packaging
Cons
  • There is no global version of the headphones, which is why the box, the application and the assistant (exactly the one that voices the mode switching) will be in Chinese. At first, the ears hurt from wearing, but it was worth changing the ear pads (there are a lot of them in the kit, that is, both foam and regular ones) and getting used to how to hurt and sometimes stop falling out. For some reason, instead of Bluetooth 5.2, they put 5.0, which is why there is no connection to two devices. Noise reduction copes well with high frequencies of noise (for example, in the park you can feel the difference), but in the same subway or bus, well, not everything jams, so it is adequate here, but not the flagship one. When you take it out of the case, the noise reduction is turned off every time, because of which you have to press the cup (does not remember the modes).
