Review on 🔧 Hitch Spacer and Silencer Pad (2-inch): Advanced Solutions by GR Innovations LLC by Scott Kulothungan

I initially gave this product a pretty bad review, although I felt I was being too harsh and wanted to rewrite the review to be fair. I made this purchase not expecting to have to do anything other than attach this to the back of my 2" hitch. The piece will likely need to be trimmed to ensure a really good fit and you may need to use more than one. I had to use two and crop the second. My first attempt at trimming one of them went very poorly as I wasn't up to the task. A vise would make this fairly easy. Since I don't have a vise, I instead sat down and spent about an hour carving the back of one with a pocket knife. With some perseverance I got it working and it does dampen the rumble, but in the end I was still disappointed with the result. I'll try using a hitch tensioner to see if that eliminates the rest of the gap between the hitch and the receiver.
