The seat can also be tilted forwards and backwards and locked. Perfect. Since most of these stools are designed for all-day sitting, I might try adding an extra cushion, but that's to be expected with these types of stools. Better quality than others but I have replaced the casters with built in locking wheels but that is not necessary. I've been using it for a few months now and am very satisfied.
